On the third day of Navaratri, Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped. Maa Chandraghanta is the rowdy, angry and protective form of Goddess Durga. When the child is in any trouble, the mother comes to help the child and becomes his protector.

Similarly, when a devotee calls Chandraagraanta in trouble, Maa takes the form of a rowdy look for the safety of the child. Mother Chandraghanta does not leave her devotee in any condition. If you are worried then worship Maa Chandraghanta. During the worship of Mother Chandraghangta, wear red or yellow clothes.

Use these things in worship: A couplet of clove Betel Pan leaf Anything made from milk which is made in the house Pure rolie and kumkum Rice Panchamrit If possible, keep Akhand Jyot in the lamp made up of clay and bronze.

It will remain on the left side of Mother's statue. Lit the five lamp daily in the lamp made up of wheat flour.

Donate rice: On the third day of Navaratri, Akshat(rice) is donated exclusively. That is, donation of rice to young girls than 8 years is very auspicious.

The simplest mantra to chant on the third day of Navaratri: When the mind becomes turbulent then it is possible that you have many mistakes. Success also goes away with disturbance. In such a way, whenever the mind becomes turbulent or you fail, chant the mantra of Chandraghanta:

// Sarvamangal Manglya Shiva Shrivastava Sharayya Trimbke Gauri Narayani Namoteste //

// ॐ सर्वमंगल मांगल्ये शिवे सर्वार्थसाधिके | शरण्ये त्रयम्बके गौरी नारायणी नमोस्तुते //
