In the latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kartik's dadi is happy that the young kid was able to perform the pooja like a learned pandit. She gives him money as dakshina but he refuses and asks for her blessings instead.

Kartik and Naira are happy with the kids. Kartik arranges for a bus to take the kids for sightseeing and then to be dropped to their hometown. Naira thanks Kartik for bringing the ashram kids on her birthday. Singhanias are also excited about the birthday party for Naira. Keerti also helps Naksh with decorations.

Naira is then given another gift by chacha and chachi, she asks her to spend the day in spa with Kartik. Naira is excited about it but he promises to joni her later. In the meantime he makes arrangements for Naira's surprise birthday party and forgets about going to spa.

An angry Naira rushes home to inform that she cancelled the spa as Kartik could not come. Everyone wonders what could be the reason. Manish is angry when he is informed that Kartik is planning to host Naira's birthday party at Singhania home. He asks Kartik about it but the later says it is for Naira's happiness. Naira is angry at Kartik but he says they can fight some other day and that they should spend her special day nicely/.
