INDORE: A 30-year-old youth stabbed his father to death in a exchanging of fury after a quarrel with him over preparing tea in Pipaliyamandi area of Mandsaur district on Wednesday morning.

Police stated the incident took place in the early morning when the youth Arpit Agarwal was preparing tea in the kitchen and His mother was busy in domestic chores while father was sitting in the drawing room.

After a few minitues, 60 year –old Aprit's father Banwarilal, went to the kitchen and yelled at Arpit for wasting tea. He also shouted him for not earning and wasting the family resources.

Annoyed by the remarks, Arpit took the kitchen knife and stabbed his father in his stomach to death. Banwarilal got severe injuries and he was taken to a nearby hospital by neighbors who had rushed in after hearing his cries.

Police added that the man was referred to the district hospital after his condition started worsening and he passed away on way.

They informed police officials immediately and Arpit was detained from the spot. Senior police officials arrived the spot along with forensic experts and examined the crime scene and the evidences were collected to the arrest the accused.
