The owner of a steel godown allegedly beat a 14-year-old boy and mercilessly thrashed him for hours. According to the owner, the minor had stolen the steel pipes from his godown.

Meanwhile, someone had made the video of the boy being thrashed. The video went viral on social media.

The owner then took the boy to the police. The owner had no proof which can prove that the boy had stolen the pipes from the godown. Due to lack of evidence no case was filed against the minor.

The minor's father, Riyazuddin, said the owner took the child to his godown on June 24, stripped and thrashed him, while workers at the godown filmed the inhuman act.

When police asked the minor he said that he was hung for as many as five hours, and was beaten and tortured for nearly three hours.

Meanwhile, the police said one arrest has been made.

Senior Superintendent of police Rahul Yadvendu said the boy was beaten up on allegations of theft. We have arrested one person, and are investigating the matter. As soon as the police officials will complete the probe they will arrest the accused.
