New Delhi: A 60-year-old auto driver has died due to drowning in rain water under the Minto Road Bridge in the national capital Delhi on Sunday. Hours after this incident, a series of allegations and counter-allegations have started in political parties. On the body recovered from near Minto Bridge, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh said that MCD in Delhi has the responsibility of cleaning drains on a large scale, some of the drains are with the Jal Board, PWD and NDMC. It has to be seen where the waterlogging has happened due to lack of it.

BJP leader and North Delhi Municipal Corporation Mayor Jayaprakash said on this matter that, if Delhi government adopts irresponsible attitude, such incidents will happen in Delhi. CM Kejriwal should also take responsibility and help. The government should take steps to prevent such incidents from happening again. Where is Delhi government today?

The BJP unit of Delhi has also targeted CM Kejriwal by tweeting. The BJP wrote in a tweet, "CM Kejriwal has failed on every front. Neither does he mean anything to the development of Delhi nor to the problems of the people. The corona epidemic turned its attention away from the public and now the rain is revealing their failures. Delhi had chosen you to work, not to promote itself at government expense. ''
