There is constant international pressure on Russia to wage war against Ukraine. There are many restrictions on it. In such a situation, Russia has tried to threaten the world instead of retreating. Russia has threatened the world with a third world war and called for a nuclear war. Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned that it would be disastrous if the third world war was waged using nuclear war. Russia said US President Joe Biden knows what the consequences of the sanctions will be.
The Russian foreign minister said Moscow was preparing for a second round of talks with Kiev. But the Ukrainian side is dragging its feet back at the behest of Washington. "We are ready for a second round of talks, but ukraine's side is evasive on the orders of the United States," Lavrov said, at a time when Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Russian delegation would wait for Ukraine's negotiators at the negotiating venue late on Wednesday evening. Peskov had previously confirmed that the president's aide Vladimir Medinsky remains the chief Russian negotiator in Russia's talks with Ukraine.
Prior to the statement of the two men, russian and ukrainian officials held the first round of talks in the belarusian city of Gomel on Monday. The purpose of the talks was to avert the Ukraine crisis and return to the path of peace. Vladimir Medinsky told reporters that because of the talks, the Ukrainian side was able to agree on some common point, which we say could lead to normalcy. He said the two sides have agreed on a second round of talks to be held in Belarus later this week. This war between the two sides has so far caused large-scale losses.
