Lucknow: After Friday prayers in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a big initiative will be started regarding Agneepath scheme. For this, an appeal will be made to the youth in many mosques of the city that Muslim youth should actively participate in the Agneepath scheme. Half a dozen mosques in the city will be included in this initiative being started by the All India Sunni Ulema Council.

Talking to the media, Haji Mommad Salees, National President of All India Sunni Ulema Council, has told that, 'We are appealing to our Muslim youth because that will bring discipline in them and they will also get employment. With this, their share in the service of the country will increase, we are having discussions with many mosques, from where the appeal will be made today. Haji Mommad Salis has said, 'Now we have built Nanpara Masjid. Have spoken with the Imam of half a dozen mosques including Jajmau Masjid, Kalyanpur Masjid, today they will appeal, after this we will write a letter to four hundred mosques of the city and ask them to appeal for the promotion of this scheme, we want that Muslims should also join the Agneepath scheme.

Haji Mommad Salees further said that, 'All India Sunni Council has lakhs of members all over the country, a large number of Maulana are associated with the council, so this appeal will definitely prove to be a big effort for Agneepath.' Haji Salees has been raising the issues of Muslim society at the national level. His daughter Maryam Nawaz is the country's first Sunni woman Shahrqazi.
