Car going from Bareilly to Punjab falls in Ganga Canal, three people missing

Ghaziabad: A Swift car going from Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh to Punjab fell into Ganga Canal, carrying four people. After receiving the information of the accident, police immediately reached the spot and rescued a young man. The young man is alive and is admitted to the hospital. While the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team is searching for the remaining three youths.

The young man who has been rescued is a contractor in Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Chandigarh, Punjab. The rest used to work here. The incident took place on Friday night at a quarter to twelve. While giving information on Saturday, Mussoorie police station in-charge Umesh Panwar has told that the contractor in DRDO was taking Sanjeev, Ashish, and Vinny from his Swift car to Chandigarh from Paramveer alias Pankaj Bareilly for the job.

When these people reached near Mussoorie Gangnahar at around quarter to twelve in the night, due to darkness in the night, they turned on the wrong road, after which the car went into the canal uncontrolled. During this, people got their eye on it. People informed the police about it. Police are currently searching for the remaining three youths.
