Bastar: Naxalism in Bastar has become a curse for tribal residents. The tribals are trapped in the maze of police and Naxalites. On the one hand, murdered on suspicion of police informers and on the other hand, death by calling them Naxalites. There are many cases in the Naxal affected areas of Bastar. The Naxalites have killed innocent people by calling them, informers. On the other hand, the soldiers have claimed the lives of tribal people by calling them Naxalites. But there is one such incident in these cases when the body has been waiting for the last rites for the past two years.

In the hope of getting justice, the villagers have wrapped the body in a 6-feet pit with white cloth and placed it coated with salt, oil and herbs. Arrangements have also been made to protect the body from the ravages of the weather. Pressed with the help of wooden beads, polythene and clay. However, now the body of the villager has been largely turned into a skeleton. But the villagers and the families of the deceased villagers said that the body will be preserved till justice is done.

The body was dated March 19, 2020, at around 7:30 a.m. Security forces claimed an encounter in the forests of Gampur village. Gampur village is a highly Naxal affected area of the Dantewada district. According to the security forces, Badru Madvi, a Naxal who is well-versed in making the IED and the medical team in charge of the Gangalur committee, has been gunned down in the encounter. According to the security forces, Badru was a Naxal with a reward of Rs 2 lakh. Badru's younger brother Sannu is an eyewitness to the incident. Sannu alleges that his brother was surrounded by the soldiers in front of him and killed. Two years are about passed since the incident, but the villagers have kept Badru's body completely safe on the cremation ground. It is awaited that the stain of being a Naxalite will be removed from the head of the deceased. Family members say that the security forces killed Badru by calling him a Naxalite.
