Recently, a new case of crime is reported from Japan where a cruel criminal has been sentenced to death. In this case, a 30-year-old drug addict Satoshi Yumatsu had stabbed and stabbed him to death in 2016. It has been reported that Yumatsu confessed to his crime in the court and told that he had stabbed several people in a mental care centre.

This incident is being called one of the worst massacres in the history of Japan after the Second World War. Let us tell you that Satoshi Yumatsu said in his statement that, 'He wanted to kill all the disabled in this attack.' Not only this, Satoshi surrendered himself to the police after taking a blood-stained knife. At the same time, the investigation of this case revealed that he had left the job of a care home a few months ago and his motive behind this massacre was that 'handicapped people only cause trouble and sorrow'.

He thought that by doing this he would be able to rid everyone of this trouble. At the same time, 26 people were injured by the knife. In this case, the court said in its ruling that, 'Yumatsu is not eligible for any kind of mercy'. At the same time, Chief Justice Kiyoshi Anuma, who pronounced the judgment in this case, said, 'The accused never denied having his hand in this heart-wrenching violence. Neither did he regret his actions, but his lawyers argued that he was not guilty. In the court, the defense said in its plea that, "Satoshi Yumatsu had become a victim of mental disorder with the use of marijuana." Not only this, the prosecutors had sought the death penalty for Satoshi. Judge Kiyoshi Aunuma, while sentencing Yumatsu to be hanged in the case, said, "The crime was committed on purpose and there is strong evidence from the court of the intention to commit murder."
