Chennai: A shocking incident emerged from Chennai after a man allegedly fed alcohol to his daughter and raped her. The accused is a marine engineer. The accused used to stay in Dubai and had come back last year. According to the source, the accused allegedly raped his four-year-old daughter. His wife is an employee at a salon near their residence.

An investigation officer told TOI that accused allegedly fed alcohol to the child and when she lost consciousness, he raped her. The victim's mother was not at home when the alleged incident took place. When she returned, the woman saw her daughter lying unconscious and bleeding. When she confronted her husband about the same, he said that she might have injured herself after falling. The woman then took her daughter to the hospital.

According to the doctors, the victim had consumed alcohol and was raped. After that woman approached the Rajamangalam police and lodged a complaint with them. The police booked the accused under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused allegedly confessed to his crime. 

In a similar incident, a father allegedly raped his daughter for years. The accused is blind and had been raping his daughter since she was six-year-old. The victim alleged that she doesn’t remember when the abuse started, she stated that there were several incidents where she was raped from 2004 to 2011.
