Bollywood celebrities enjoy a massive fan following and fans sometimes do very unusual behavior. Veteran actress Mumtaz who had recently been to London, apparently got mobbed in the UK city.  The actress recently shared an unusual incident with a fan.

In a recent interview narrating the incident, the actress said, “I was at an apparel store shopping when an Indian couple spotted me and approached me. They seemed super excited to see me. The wife said, ‘We are your biggest fans. Would you do us a favor?’ I thought she wanted a selfie. But her request was something completely unexpected.”

The actress said she wanted a hug for her husband. Apparently that would make his life dream come trye. She further added, " I found the request very unusual. But I agreed. They went away happy,"

Mumtaz further spoke about her love for fans and said, "That they remember me to this day fifty years after I quit acting, says something about my enduring relationship with my fans. They approach me wherever I go. They tell me I still look beautiful. It is very motivating."

On the professional front, Mumtaz is one of the most successful actors of the 60s and 70s. She is known for several memorable films like Do Raaste Bandhan, Aadmi Aur Insaan, Sachaa Jhutha , Khilona , Tere Mere Sapne, Hare Rama Hare Krishna , Apna Desh, Loafer , Jheel Ke Us Paar , Chor Machaye Shor , Aap Ki Kasam , Roti , Prem Kahani  and Nagin .
