Dale Sharpe, a resident of Queensland, Australia, proposed to his girlfriend, Karlie Russell in perhaps, the most visually stunning setting. The photographer couple got engaged at the heart of the Arctic circle under Aurora Borealis or the ‘northern lights’.
The couple had travelled together to the location 30 times, so it was the perfect place for them to get committed. Speaking of his choice of the location, Dale said,
“I HADN’T HEARD OR SEEN ANYONE DO IT BEFORE, AND I WANTED TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT FROM EVERYBODY ELSE.WE BOTH LOVE CHASING THE NORTHERN LIGHTS AND PHOTOGRAPHING THEM TOGETHER, SO IT SEEMED PRETTY FITTING.”
And now he describes the northern lights as,
“IT WAS THE MOST AMAZING DISPLAY OF COLOUR IN THE AURORA THAT WE’VE EVER SEEN.”
