Guwahati: Another person caught in the Tabligi Jamaat has been caught who is infected with Coronavirus. This tabligi was caught and returned to Nizamuddin in Delhi by participating in the Tabligi Jamaat program. The total number of coronavirus patients in the state has increased to 30. This information has been given by Health Minister Hemant Biswa Sarma in this regard.

On giving information, Sarma has told that 29 cases out of 30 infected are related to the Tablighi Jamaat program that took place in Nizamuddin last month. He said that one of these infected people has died. Sarma said that all these patients and the people in contact with them have either been sent to isolation or kept separate. The minister said in the press conference here that, "We are able to keep every person related to the organization of Tabligi Jamaat in isolation."

Sarma said that the person who was found corona positive on Monday is from Dhubri and is the third person from the district to have confirmed coronavirus infection. All of them belong to Tabligi Jamaat Markaz. The infected man is 35 years old and returned to Assam on 21 March by plane and reached Dhubri by bus.
