Hyderabad: An incident happened in Telangana when a 17 year old boy committed suicide by shooting himself after he failed to pass JEE Main 2019 exam. This tragic incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning. National Testing Agency, NTA has released JEE Main 2019 result on April 29, 2019 at jeemain.nic.in. Arpund 12 lakh candidates have appeared for the exam this year. to be noted that Telangana as a state has over the past week recorded many student suicides. As many as 19 students reportedly committed suicide after then failed the Telangana Intermediate Examination. A local daily reports that Sohail had failed the TS Inter Examinations as well. However, failing JEE Main was perhaps the last straw.

Here it is to be noted that Stress of examinations continue to show its ugly face even as the state authorities are scrambling to rectify the huge good up that declared around 3 lakh candidates as failed. As reported by PTI, Sohail took the extreme step over his failure to crack the JEE Main examination – the national level examination for engineering admissions. Related.

However, it is to be noted that Sohail allegedly used his father’s pistol who is a retired army jawan to kill himself at his house in Neredmet neighbourhood in the early hours of the day.  He had taken coaching from Aakash institute but was not able to clear the exams, the results of which were declared yesterday. After failing his father reportedly scolded him for not qualifying the examination and ‘not concentrating’ on his studies. Depressed over failure and being scolded, Sohail committed suicide. The police are questioning Sohail's father, Meheruddin. The father works as a a security guard at a bank.
