Mandi: On Thursday morning, in a sad incident, five people were killed and other five were injured after a jeep rolled down a cliff into a deep gorge at Padhar area of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh. According to the report, the Jeep rolled down a cliff and fell into a deep gorge at the Padhar area of Mandi. Though there is no report whether all the deceased people were of the same people or not, police are investigating the matter. The injured people have been admitted to the nearest hospital and are being given medical attention.

Earlier, twelve people died and many others were injured after a bus fell into a deep gorge near the Panchpula bridge in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district. The bus was on the Dalhousie-Pathankot route when the accident took place. However, the exact cause of the accident is still not known. Chamba Superintendent of Police (SP) Monica Bhutunguru said that a rescue team led by Dalhousie Deputy Superintendent of Police reached the accident site. According to reports, the death toll may increase. Meanwhile, rescue operations are still underway.
