Jaipur: A shocking case has come to light from Jalore district of Rajasthan. A lover couple has jumped into the Narmada canal in the Sarawana police station area of Jalore district. Both were residents of Gundau village in Jalore and had jumped into the Narmada canal due to a love affair. After this incident there was a stir in the surrounding area. After about 20 hours, the bodies of both were released from the canal.

According to the information, both used to do agricultural work in a village under Kudi police station area of Jaisalmer. According to relatives, the girl's father had taken the young man with him to Kudi in Jaisalmer a few days ago for agricultural work. There the young man-girl fell in love and both escaped from there. After this, the family lodged a report of the disappearance of both at Kudi police station and also started searching themselves. Later the family got information that both have gone to Gundau. After this, the family reached Lalpura after chasing them.

When the young woman realized that the family is following them, both tied their hands and jumped into the canal. People working in the fields around there tried to stop them, but by the time they reached to stop them, they had jumped. After this, the news of this incident was given to the police. Police and administration investigated at local level. The NDRF team of Jodhpur has been informed of the incident.
