Lucknow: In an appalling case, a man reportedly attacked his wife with acid, but missed the target. However, the chemical fell on an elderly woman badly injuring her. The police have filed an FIR in the case and begun the investigation.

Delhi police arrests another suspect in the Dwarka Mor Shooting Case

According to the report, The shocking incident happened in Raja Bazar area in Lucknow. Vikas Tripathi, Superintendent of Police, West Lucknow told ANI, "There were some issues going on between the couple. The girl was staying at her father's place in Raja Bazaar. The husband came here and tried to throw some liquid on her face. In the incident, an elderly lady has got injured,"

There has been no word on the arrest of the accused so far.

17-year-old boy arrested for the murder of TikTok celebrity

As per report, in February 2019, a 30-year-old man from West Bengal attacked his wife after she failed to pay Rs 10,000 as demanded by the accused.  The victim along with her husband had visited a fertility centre where the woman offered herself for surrogacy.

The woman stayed at the fertility centre for over a week, where her husband visited her and demanded RS 10,000. The woman told his husband that she has not yet been paid for the surrogacy. On getting the money, he took out a bottle of acid from his bag and threw the chemical on his face, head and chest.

The victim had received 15% burn on her body. She was later declared out of danger.
