Jaipal of Pathankot lost the battle of life due to TB disease after being recovered from Corona. The 35-year-old auto driver fought the corona for 40 days and on Tuesday evening the report of his second phase came negative and the very next day Jaipal breathed his last at GNDH Hospital in Amritsar.

The funeral was performed on Monday in his village Mamoon under administrative supervision. At the same time, the family has termed Jaipal's death as negligence of officials of GNDH Amritsar and Pathankot Health Department. The family says Jaipal was not infected. He was a patient of TB. But the administration declared him corona infected and died in Amritsar due to lack of treatment.

Jaipal was already a TB patient and was undergoing treatment in a private hospital for 4 months. He was admitted in civil hospital after the complaint of chest infection. He tested positive for corona virus 40 days ago. After which he was admitted to Pathankot Civil Hospital. But on the deteriorating condition, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Hospital of Amritsar was referred. Where he underwent treatment and took his first phase sample on 15 May.
