New Delhi: A man killed a married woman  after she rejected his marriage proposal in the national capital. The accused was identified as Shyam Yadav who hails from Pansalwa in Madhubani district of Bihar.

As per the eprots PTI, the accused wanted to marry 45-year-old Madhuri who was 18 year older than him. Both of them worked at a shoe factory together Yadav allegedly fell in love with her. Since the woman was already married she rejected his proposal.  The woman left the job after sensing Yadav's desperation for her. After leaving job, accused then started following her and eventually stabbed her to death on Wednesday. Based on her statement a case was registered and an investigation is underway.

High Court grants anticipatory bail to a teacher accused of harassment of 19 students

The Nangloi police station was informed about the stabbing of a woman on Wednesday and they rushed to the spot. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Seju Kuruvilla told that the woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.  The woman's daughter told police that accused killed her mother in front of her.
