Punjab: Woman along with six people murdered young man due to dispute

On Friday, a woman, along with her colleagues, crushed a 33-year-old man under a tractor in a land dispute in Lad Banjara Kalan near Patadan. The young man was taken to a government hospital in critical condition, but doctors declared him dead as soon as he arrived there.

The police station of Sangrur, in-charge Sukhdeep Singh, said that in this case action has been initiated by registering a case of murder on seven people including the main accused woman. Police have taken the tractor used in the incident. Kuldeep Kaur, mother of Harvinder Singh, who died in Patadan Hospital, told that a case of land is going on with Paramjeet Kaur, a woman from his village Hamzhedi.

In this case, the court has given them a stay. But on Friday, the woman along with her companions Bhola Singh, Kanwalpreet Singh, Kalu and his village reached the people of village Dundiyal to capture their land. When the accused tried to capture the land by tractor, his son Harvinder Singh informed the police.
