Chennai: A 22-year-old man allegedly hold his 14-year-old sister-in-law captive for four days and raped her several times.
As per the report, the man was identified Ajith Kumar, a resident of Periyapalayam oF district Thiruvallur. He married a girl from the Erukuvai village 20 days ago. As per the report, the accused's sister-in-law is a Class 7 student, studying in a local government-run school.

On February 27 when the girl did not return from school, her parents began searching for her and lodged a missing police complaint at the Periyapalayam police station.
As per report, the investigations revealed that Kumar had picked the girl from the school and took her to his mobile shop. He held her there for four days and raped her several times. The police officials said that at first the accused did not admit the crime but he later confessed on further enquiry.
Meanwhile, the girl was rescued from the mobile store and immediately was rushed to the hospital for her medical check-up. However, the police have booked him under the sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. He was also produced in Ponneri court and as per report, he is now in Puzhal Prison.
