Some people took him with them to the Kanjipani police station saying to resolve a problem and attacked him.
The NCST member further said, "I had to reach Balbhadrapur panchayat of Telkoi block to listen to the grievances of the people. Near Kanjipani, around 300 people surrounded us and asked us to register a complaint. However, they had a different conspiracy. They attacked us. Some members of our team were also injured. The district administration did not provide us with proper security. That's why this incident happened.
