Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri, a mother cut off the genitals of youth who tried to rape her 14-year-old daughter by entering the house. The young man is undergoing treatment in Lucknow. Based on the complaint of the woman, the police are investigating the matter by registering an FIR. According to media reports, this incident is from Mahewaganj in the Lakhimpur Kheri district. The woman alleges that the youth tried to rape her daughter on Wednesday (August 17, 2022).

After cutting off the genitals of the young man, the woman herself reached the police. At the same time, according to some media reports, the 36-year-old woman who attacked and the accused youth are live-in partners. The woman was living separately from her husband with her daughter. It is alleged that the woman was working in the field when the youth made an attempt to rape her daughter. Suddenly she reached home and saw the accused in an objectionable position. According to the report, the woman fought with the accused for about 40 minutes to save the daughter. When she felt that she could not win the fight with the young man, she cut off the genitals of the accused by bringing a knife from the kitchen. It has come to the fore that the young man had eight stitches. The woman says 'I have no regrets for cutting his genitals. even I could have killed him. He should get the same punishment. Now he will not be able to make anyone a victim of his lust.'

The SHO of Lakhimpur police station says that the woman has been living separately from her husband for almost two years. Her husband is an alcoholic. Based on the complaint of the woman, a case has been registered against the accused youth under Section 376 and POCSO Act. Police say that after the recovery of the accused, he will be interrogated.
