Mansoor Ali Khan (MAK) also known as Tiger was born with a silver spoon as he belonged to royal of Nawabs of Patudi. He spent his childhood in a magnificent palace and every facilities was available to him. 9th Nawab of the Princely state of Pataudi, choose to rule the cricket ground and entered the cricket world.

At the age of 16, MAK made his first-class debut for Sussex in August 1957 and played for Oxford while he was at university and was the first Indian captain there.he made his Test debut playing against England in Delhi in December 1961.  At 21 years and 77 days, he held the world record for the youngest Test captain until he was surpassed by Tatenda Taibu in May 2004.He played in 46 Test matches for India between 1961 and 1975, scoring 2,793 runs at a Test batting average of 34.91, including 6 Test centuries.

He lost his right eye in a road accident, donated his good eye still he never let its weakness affect his game. He married to  In 1969, Pataudi published an autobiography, Tiger’s Tale.He died of respiratory failure on September 22, 2011 at the age of 70.
