Sheopur: A Patwari came under fire for sharing objectionable posts on social media against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia. The Sheopur Collector has suspended him while acting on Patwari.

Patwari Dewan Singh shared a post on Facebook on 13 March 2020. Commenting against Jyotiraditya Scindia in the post, it was written that, "Such sarcasm of serving the public to the people who worshiped the public is beyond comprehension." It is noteworthy that this was the time when the politics of Madhya Pradesh arose. The 22 MLAs of the Congress had moved to Bangalore after rebelling from the party and the crisis deepened over the Congress government led by Kamal Nath. Jyotiraditya Skindi broke away from Congress for years and joined the BJP, due to which he said that he was unable to serve the people while in Congress.

Several other controversial posts shared and posted on Diwan Singh's Facebook page were also found. Patwari has been suspended by Collector Pratibha Pal as soon as the government changed. Action has been taken against them for violation of the code of civil conduct.
