Director Ram Gopal Varma has been booked for sharing morphed photos of Telugu Desam Party chief N Chandrababu Naidu. According to the source, a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) activist complained against director Ram Gopal Varma for sharing morphed photos on Facebook, depicting TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu joining YSR Congress Party.  The director had also made derogatory remarks about Naidu and his family members.

The TDP activist, Devibabu Chowdary said, "I complained against Ram Gopal Varma in Tadepalli Gudem rural police station in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. I had already complained in Telangana. Reason for present complaint is that he morphed the photo of Chandrababu Naidu as if he is joining in YSRCP and posted it on social media. That is provocative," Chowdary said.

According to a police official, in a complainant stating that RGV had posted a morphed photo of Naidu on his social media account, with demeaning comments. "He even allegedly made unwarranted comments on his family members. We will take appropriate legal action, we will investigate the photo morphing issue," said the police official.  The police said that they are going to take legal action and investigate the matter thoroughly.
