The policeman of Chandigarh has been suspended, who allegedly slapped a person for making a video of talking on the phone while driving himself. Head Constable Surinder Singh has slapped a man whose video went viral.
While driving the bike, he did not wear a helmet. When a local person talked of violating the traffic rules, the policeman allegedly slapped him.
Former Union Minister and Congress leader Manish Tiwari, while demanding action against policemen, uploaded the video to Twitter.

The head constable was deployed as a personal security officer (PSO) of a high court judge. Tiwari works as an event manager with media houses. SSP (traffic) Shashank Anand said the head constable has been challaned for two offenses and his license seized.
The SSP has also posted the pictures of the challan slip on the official Twitter and Facebook account of the traffic police.
