New Delhi: Aurangzeb and NCERT were trending on social media yesterday on Friday. But they are still being discussed today. In fact, NCERT has revealed a big RTI about Aurangzeb. NCERT's 'Designer Historians' has described Sultan Aurangzeb of communalism as secular in the book of Class XII History. NCERT's 12th book tampers with history and says Aurangzeb built temples.

The NCERT book is being taught glorifying Mughal rulers like Aurangzeb and Shah Jahan that these kings built temples. Page 234 of the Indian History Part-two, a history book of 12th history, says that temples were demolished during the war, but Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb later issued grants to repair these temples. The NCERT book also does not clearly say that the temples of India were demolished at the behest of Aurangzeb. But it has been written that Aurangzeb and Shah Jahan had issued grants for repairing temples. This lie in the history of Azad Bahrat was revealed by RTI.
RTI questioned in the second paragraph of page No. 234 of the theme of Indian History Part 2, NCERT wrote from what source that when the temples were demolished during the war, the regime of Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb was given financial assistance for reconstruction? RTI also asked NCERT how many temples Aurangzeb and Shah Jahan rebuilt? In reply, NCERT said it did not have the information.
