On Tuesday, police said that a 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her stepfather on multiple occasions. Golconda Police said "We received a complaint on March 25 from a 14-year-old girl stating that she has been raped several times by her stepfather,". After the complaint was registered, the minor girl was sent to Bharosa centre for medical assistance and counselling.
Here it is to be noted that a case has been registered under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences(POCSO) Act. Police have formed multiple teams to nab the accused. Further probe in the matter is underway.

While, it is worth mentioning here that this year in January a same incident came into light from Muzzafarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, where a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her stepfather and his cousin in Shamli district. The minor's ordeal did not end here, the accused men also recorded a video of their act. According to news agency PTI, the Circle Officer Rajesh Kumar Tiwari mentioned that the incident took place on Saturday and the police had registered a case. The accused were identified as Waseem, the victim's stepfather, and his cousin Tanvir.
The complaint was lodged by the victim's mother. She mentioned that the accused also recorded a video of their act and threatened to make it viral if the girl narrated her ordeal to anyone. The victim's mother got married to accused-Waseem after her first husband passed away, in October last year.
