Tea stall owner murder in Gurugram, police investigating

New Delhi: A sensational case of murder has come to light from Gurugram. The man running a tea shop at this Pataudi road post has been killed by crushing his head with a stone. After the incident, the accused covered the dead body with a blanket. When the children of the deceased came to pick up their father in the morning, they returned to see him asleep first.

When the wife of the deceased came at around 11 am, she saw the body in a blood-soaked state. The police came out of the outpost after getting information and took the dead body and sent it for postmortem. Usha, the wife of 42-year-old Vaidyanath Jha, who hails from Darbhanga district of Bihar, has told the police that her husband used to run a tea shop in the name of Chautala Tea Stall in front of the police post. He slept at the shop on Sunday night.

The wife of the deceased said that at around 7 am, Vaidyanath's 2 children came to the Ganesh Jha and Deepak Jha shop, and returned to see his father sound asleep. Around 11 in the morning, daughter Kajal and wife Usha came, who started making noise on seeing Vednath soaked in blood. Even after a long time when the Pataudi Road Outpost Police did not come out, people made a noise in front of the Outpost after which the Police came out and reached the spot. The crime branch team is currently investigating the case.
