A recent case of crime has surfaced from the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. The police report states that the boy accidentally pulled the trigger of a country-made pistol while shooting the video. According to the sources, on Thursday, Pratik Wadekar died in Shirdi on Wednesday evening. It is reported that the 17-year-old Pratik and his friends 20-year-old Sonny Pawar, 27-year-old Nitin Wadekar and an 11-year-old boy and another man were in the temples ' city of Shirdi for a ritual involving the funeral of a man from his family.
While at the hotel, they decided to take a gun and post it on a video-sharing app, TikTok. According to the information found in the case, Inspector Anil Katake of Shirdi Police station said that Pratik accidentally pulled the trigger of the pistol. Just after pulling the trigger, Pratik fell and others ran out of the room. The gunshot alerted the hotel staff who tried to stop Pratik’s relatives, but they threatened to open fire and ran away.
In the case, police said that Wadekar was taken to a government hospital where he was pronounced dead and Katake said that Sonny and Nitin were arrested after registering a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code in this regard. Reportedly other relatives in the case are yet to be ascertained while the fourth accused is a minor and Sonny and Nitin told police that triggered was accidentally pulled during the video shoot. The Shirdi police have arrested Pawar and Wadekar. The case is registered under IPC sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder).
