TIRUMALA: Keeping in view the alert of the Central and State Governments on the third wave of COVID in October this year also at Tirumala Srivari Temple, TTD (in solitude) decided to hold the annual event without the participation of pilgrims.

In a two-hour department-wise review meeting of the arrangements for the mega festival, he directed the heads of all departments to ensure that the nine-day fete is performed with utmost religious fervor and unique manner before the annual Brahmotsavam. Additional EO AV Dharma Reddy briefed TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy on important days including commencement of Utsavam on 7 October, Garuda Sewa on 11 October, Golden Rath on 12 October, Rathotsavam on 14 October, Chakrasanam and Dhwaja Rohanam on 15 October Gave.

He said Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy would be invited for the Brahmotsavam as per the existing practice. EO asked the officials of Electrical and Garden Wing to plan innovative designs of decorations for annual event at GNC toll gate entry point of holy hills, temples, traffic islands etc. and Engineering Wing to prepare rooms in SPRH area before Brahmotsavam. Directed to repair and complete Alipiri footpath works.
