Jisshu U Sengupta's reality show 'Super Singer Season 3' is poised to air a colourful episode this weekend. Valentine's Day special episodes will be aired on the show. Along with judges Kumar Sanu and Koushiki Chakraborty, singer Akriti Kakar will appear as a special guest on the event. Interestingly, in the absence of judge Sonu Nigam, singer-composer Anu Malik is currently a part of the show.

Akriti flew down to Kolkata recently to film the special episode. On the show, she will sing some of her most popular romantic songs. The contestants will also sing popular Hindi and Bengali romantic songs with a special Valentine's Day theme. The beautiful performances of Suchismita, Kumar Gourab Chakraborty, and Nikhil Majotra are undoubtedly among the highlight of this weekend's episodes. Akriti, who served as a judge on the reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,' was surpprised by the performance.

Other Bengali series, in addition to 'Super Singer Season 3,' will run special episodes on Valentine's Day. On February 14, the daily serial 'Mon Phagun,' starring Sean Banerjee and Srijla Guha, will air a one-hour special episode featuring a celebrity affair. Ankush Hazra, a film celebrity, will come as a guest on the show. In addition to him, the special episode of 'Mon Phagun' will feature actress Devlina Kumar, singers Lagnajita Chakraborty and Shovan Ganguly.
