The much-awaited science fiction film, 2.0, is going to hit after a week on big screen. It is directed by S Shankar directorial which stars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar in the key roles. It has created surprising buzz ahead of its release because of its VFX and action wich shows in heavy trailer. The fact is that over Rs 500 crore has been spent on the making of this film and another factor that has contributed to its solid publicity

As there is still time left for 2.0 to hit in the cinemas but it has already beaten 2017’s super hit Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which stars Prabhas and Rana Daggubati in the key roles. Report on Bollywood Hungama sid that 2.0 is going to be released on 6600 to 6800 screens from corner to corner of India to become the widest release of all time in that way surpassing Baahubali 2: The Conclusion that had released on approximately 6500 screens.

2.0 will take hold of 4000 to 4100 screens in the North Indian belt. It will be released on 1200-1250 screens in Andhra Pradesh/Telangana while in Tamil Nadu, the number of screens is between 600 and 625. In Kerala, the film will screened on 500 to 525 screens, while in Karnataka, it has claimed around 300 screens.

According to recent reports 2.0 has earned over Rs 120 crore through advance bookings which is also a big record and it has become the first Tamil film to cross the Rs 100 crore-mark prior to its theatrical release.
