Ahmedabad: An FIR has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Bhagu Wala in a rape case in Gujarat's Veraval. The complainant alleged that she was lured into his trap by Bhagu Wala's 'Vishwas Film Creation Company' on the pretext of work and then raped her. After receiving the complaint, the girl was taken for a medical test. At the same time, the AAP leader was accused in the case and registered under Section 376 of the IPC.

Bhagu Wala was earlier the vice-president of the Congress and then joined the AAP some time ago. He also has a film production company named Vishwas Film Creation. Bhagu Wala is accused of luring a model to cast on the basis of this. He then called her to the flat and raped her. It is mentioned in the complaint that the accused lured the young woman that he would get her a modelling job. He then called the girl to his flat and raped her. Police have registered a case in this regard and started an investigation.

Earlier in Gujarat, another AAP leader Jagmal Wala had come into the limelight. A video of him also went viral. In this video, he was seen talking about alcohol. He said that alcohol is not a bad thing. If you have strength in the body, then you should drink alcohol. Before him, Gujarat AAP unit president Gopal Italia had disrespected Lord Shri Krishna by calling him a demon. Addressing a rally in Dwarka, Italia had said in Gujarati, 'Now to get rid of all these demons of Lord Shri Krishna and BJP, Arvind Kejriwal has come in the form of Arjun.'
