Tania Shergill is the captain in the Army's Signal Corps who has got the responsibility to lead the parade this year. Tania Shergill, who holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications, joined the Army in March 2017 from the Officer Training Academy, Chennai.

Tania Shergill's entire family has lived in the Army.
