The accident which recently took place in the outskirts of Hasnapur village in Utnoor shocked the locals. A young boy was seen floating on the surface of the well. When the friends saw him floating, they immediately informed their parents and who later informed the police. Utnoor police Sub-Inspector P Subbarao said that the deceased was Dawood Ibrahim, a native of Hasnapur village and an onion trader.
The 21 yr old boy drowned in a farm well when he and seven others went for a swim on the outskirts of Hasnapur village on Wednesday evening. People came to know about it only when one of the friend observed that he is drowning. The incident came to light on Thursday.
Ibrahim met with the watery grave when he jumped into well even though he didn’t know swimming. The friends immediately informed his parents who in turn informed the police about the tragedy. The body was fished out by expert divers who came to spot with the police. Based on a complaint lodged by Ibrahim’s brother, a case of suspicious death was registered. The police had started its Investigations.
