New Delhi: Samsung has launched two new smartphones Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G in the Indian market. The latest A-series model packs Android 13 OS and 5G connectivity.

A 50MP main camera, up to 8GB of RAM, 1TB of expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery are all included. They also have an LCD screen. Starting at Rs. 16,499 for the A14 5G and Rs. 22,999 respectively for the A23 5G.

The 5G smartphone hype train shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Samsung has now formally introduced its latest 5G-enabled products in India after teasers.

The mid-range market is the target audience for the handset. The OPPO A78 5G, Realme 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 12/12 compete with the recently launched Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G.

The waterdrop notch and fingerprint sensor are placed on the sides of the Galaxy A14 5G and A23 5G respectively. The A14 5G is available in Dark Red, Light Green, and Black colorways and packs three rear cameras.

Additionally, having four rear cameras, the A23 5G is available in Silver, Light Blue, and Orange. The 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD screens on both the devices have a refresh rate of 90Hz and 120Hz respectively.

The Galaxy A14 5G includes a 50MP (f/1.8) main rear camera and both 2MP (f/2.4) depth and macro sensors. The A23 5G includes a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS) primary camera, a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP (f/2.4) depth and macro cameras. The devices feature front-facing cameras with a resolution of 13MP (f/2.0) for selfies and 8MP (f/2.2) for video calls, respectively.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, the Galaxy A14 5G. It is available in 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations. Snapdragon 695 chipset is available inside the Galaxy A23 5G. There are 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB versions available.

The smartphones launch OneUI 5 on top of Android 13. They use a 5,000mAh battery to power themselves. While the A23 supports 5G 25W fast-charging, the A14 offers 5G 15W charging.

For its 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants, the Galaxy A14 5G is priced at Rs. 16,499 Rs. 18,999, and Rs. 20,999 respectively. Both the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB versions of the A23 5G are priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999 respectively. These will be offered from January 18.
