New Delhi: The government has issued new guidelines to people to exercise caution while sharing copies of Aadhaar cards. They have been asked to use masked Aadhaar only. In such a situation, it's the mAadhaar, where you can keep the details of your Aadhaar safe. You can easily share it offline from your mobile at valid places.

Keep the M-Aadhaar app on mobile:-

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) launched the new m-Aadhaar app for smartphone users. One can download it from Google's Play Store or Apple App Store. Your Aadhaar information remains secure, so this app has many tremendous features. For example, if an Aadhaar number is active on this app, it cannot be accessed from another mobile. If you change your mobile, then as soon as the app is activated on the new device, it is automatically deactivated from the older one.

MAadhaar valid everywhere:-

The app also features offline Aadhaar, which you can use to show anywhere like ID proof if needed. This ID proof is valid from railway stations to airports. The government in its new guidelines has asked for the use of masked Aadhaar. In such a situation, the use of mAadhaar can also be a safe option.

Find out where your base is shared:-

At present, on the mobile app of most banks, people get the facility to set the limit of debit or credit cards, to control their use. They can even change the PIN of their ATM card on the app itself. Similarly, in the mAadhaar app, you get the facility to lock your biometric and Aadhaar. This means that you have complete control over your base details.
