With this, it becomes very difficult to do government work without an updated Aadhar card. We have brought a way for you, by which you can update your correct address in the Aadhaar card right from home. So let's know the whole way. At the same time, to update the address in Aadhaar, you must first visit the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI's official site https://uidai.gov.in/. With this, after visiting this site, you will see the option of Aadhaar online service, in which you have to go to the update option. After this you will have to tap on the address update request (online).

With this, a new tab will open in front of you, in which the update option will appear with some rules. At the same time, to update the address in Aadhaar, you have to keep in mind that you should have the number which is linked to the Aadhaar card, because only the OTP (one-time password) of the Aadhaar update can come to this number. Now in this tab, you click on the update address option and enter the Aadhaar card number and login. After doing so you will get an OTP. Now go ahead by entering OTP and click on Data Update Request. Now you click on the address option. With this, now you will get the option of Aadhaar Update. Update your new address according to yourself and click on the submit update request option.

After the data update request, you will have to provide some documents including passport, bank statement, bank passbook, post office account passbook, ration card and voter card etc. You will also have to sign these documents and upload their photocopy. For your information, tell us that you have to provide only one document. After that you have to select your nearest BPO service provider and click on the request submit button. Now you will get an update request number. With the help of this number, you can download or print an acknowledgment copy of the request. After submitting the request, your new address can be updated in a few days and you can also get notifications on email or mobile number.
