New Delhi: Any candidate who wants to give NIOS (National Institute of Open Learning) examination, for them it is mandatory to have Aadhar card. If a candidate doesn't  have Aadhaar card, then they will not be able to sit for NIOS examination.

A senior official of NIOS said that many of the irregularities were found in the exams which were taken in March this year. Investigators found that instead of the candidates, other people were sitting on the exams. These steps are being taken to curb such cases.

Not only this, Open School is also in the preparation that scanner machines can be installed at the examination centers. In schools where CCTV cameras are not installed, they will not be made Examination Centers.
