New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh has adopted a village under West Delhi. According to sources, Sanjay Singh claims that he will make the village a 'model town'. The name of the village that you leader has adopted is the Kharkhari Canal. Sources said Aapa MP Sanjay Singh went to the village and asked for the problems faced by the villagers.
Sanjay Singh's intention is to develop the village as a 'model town'. Sanjay Singh met the villagers and discussed various development albequertowards. Discussions were also held on what the employment prospects could be in the village of Kharkhari. Preparations for building a library in the village were also discussed. AAP leader Sanjay Singh asked the villagers to decide what development works can be done in the Rs 1 crore budget. According to sources, Sanjay Singh said that the budget money will be released in the next few days as soon as the works are decided.
The Aam Aadmi Party had recently appointed Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh as the Odisha in-charge of the party. A few days ago, he was appointed in-charge of Rajasthan. The decision was taken by party President and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal at a meeting of the party's Political Affairs Committee.
