Amarinder: In Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) new co-in charge Raghav Chaddha has said on Friday that the party will soon announce its CM candidate for the 2022 assembly elections in the state. On his visit to Punjab, Raghav Chadha visited the Golden Temple and Dugiana Temple on Friday. He was accompanied by the Leader of Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Harpal Singh Cheema and other MLAs of the party.

Later, Raghav Chadha attended a press conference called by AAP state president and MP Bhagwant Mann. On a question regarding AAP's CM face for Punjab, Chadha said that "he would be a person Punjab can take pride in." AAP MLA from Rajendra Nagar in Delhi and the party's national spokesperson Raghav Chaddha said that the party will win the 2022 assembly elections. Punjab was looted by the SAD-BJP and Congress governments. Now, the people of Punjab have made up their mind that only one party can take Punjab on the path of progress, and this time they will ensure the government of the Aam Aadmi Party in the province. ”

Accusing Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh of "betraying" the people of Punjab, Raghav said that, "Before the elections, the Congress had made several promises such as waiving all debts of farmers, house to house employment, four Abolition of drugs in weeks; but none of them was completed. The drunk captains of power forgot their people and dumped all their promises."
