Raipur: The opposition to the permit for coal mining in the Hasdeo Aranya area of Chhattisgarh is increasing. The voice of the whole country is being raised to save Hasdev's forest. The High Court has also reprimanded the state government in the tree felling case. Now, this matter has even reached the Supreme Court. The National Tiger Conservation Authority has called for a factual report. The tribes of the area are agitating. The trees are being guarded in three shifts.

Now the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has also jumped into the movement to save Hasdeo. The AAP has announced to lay siege to the CM's residence on May 21 to protest against the permission for Parsa coal mining and to protect tribal interests. AAP's Chhattisgarh state in-charge Sanjeev Jha, while addressing a press conference in Raipur, took a dig at CM Bhupesh Baghel and the BJP government at the Centre. Jha said the AAP's performance is an attempt to wake up the government from the slumber of Kumbhakaran.

He said that try to live up to the hope with which the people of Chhattisgarh have chosen you. He said the 'AAP' will struggle till the forest is cut off. Reacting sharply to CM Baghel's statement that there is coal under the forest, Sanjeev Jha said that there are trees on that land in the forest. It saves the environment, saves water, and saves ecology. You have to decide whether you love humans, you love Chhattisgarh or you want to do Adani's brokerage.
