Bollywood actor Aamir Khan recently made a big and shocking announcement. In fact, Aamir's second marriage has also broken down. Recently, he has surprised everyone by announcing this. According to reports, Aamir has announced a mutually agreed divorce from his wife Kiran Rao after 15 years of marriage. The two got married on December 28, 2005 and now both are going to get divorced. Aamir and Kiran have also issued an official statement on the divorce.

In an official statement, the two said, "While spending 15 years together, we happily lived every moment and our relationship continued to grow with faith, respect and love. We will now begin a new chapter in our lives— not like husband and wife, but as co-parents and families for each other. We had our separation plan some time ago and now we are comfortable with this separate living arrangement. We will continue to be co-parents for son Azad and raise him together."

At the same time, he further wrote: "We will continue to work together on all projects that we will be interested in except for films and our Pani Foundation. Thank you to our friends and families who have consistently supported us during this period, without the support of us, we will not be able to take this decision. We expect our well wishers to see this divorce as an end, not an end, but as the beginning of a new journey." Aamir had his second marriage with Kiran. They first married Reena Dutta though the two separated in 2002.
