Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Thugs of Hindostan failed to impress the audience. Now, the actor has announced his next film. However, this one will not release in theatrical release but will air on television.
Aamir on Monday afternoon, took to his Twitter account to announce a film Rubaru Roshni produced by him and his wife Kiran Rao under the film production banner of Aamir Khan Films. Directed by Svati Chakravarty, the film will telecast on Star Plus at 11 on on January 26, 2019.
In the shared video, talked about the film, PK actor says that he has a Republic Day ‘plan’ for his fans. He clarifies that the ‘something special’ that he is going to show to his viewers is not the new episode of Satyameva Jayate. Before signing off, however, he does mouth the punch line of the show, “Dil pe lagegi, tabhi baat banegi!”
On the work front, Aamir Khan last Thugs of Hindostan failed to go magic at box office. Reportedly, he is working on Mahabharata, which will be released as a seven-part web series.
