Actress Aamna Sharif, who started her career with the TV serial 'Kahin To Hoga', is celebrating her 38th birthday on July 16 today. Aamna has gained recognition in the world of television and Hindi cinema. She was in the lead role in the TV serial 'Kahin Toh Hoga' and this serial gave her name and fame.

Aamna Sharif was born on 16 July 1982 in Mumbai. The actress's father is Indian and her mother is Persian. She studied at St. Anne's High School. From the same time when Amna was in college, she started getting modeling offers for close-up toothpaste, Emami cosmetic cream, and many other brands. The actress has worked in more than 50 commercials. Aamna has appeared in many hits in the 90s. Aamna appeared in Kumar Sanu's 'Dil Ka Alam' and Falguni Pathak's 'Ye Kisne Magic Kiya' in which the audience applauded her.

Talking about Aamna's film career, then her first film was Aloo Chaat. After this film,  she worked in films like 'Aamna Aao Wish Kare', 'Ek Villain' and 'Shakal Par Mat Jaa'. The actress decided to quit her career in 2013 after trying her luck in television and films. After this, Aamna got married to her boyfriend Amit Kapoor. Earlier, both were dating each other for many years. Last year, Aamna once again stepped into the TV world and made a comeback with the serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
