Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani are all set for their upcoming thriller-comedy ‘Govinda Naam Mera’. Now, The trailer of the most awaited film was dropped by the markers. In the film Vicky plays the role of a struggling choreographer Govind, Bhumi plays the role of his wife and Kiara Advani his girlfriend. The movie revolved around the traumatic life of Govinda. Karan Johar the producer of the film has recently opens up on his films.

Karan Johar speaking about his film said that he did not receive credits for his different stories film. He said, “Everyone has their own perception of what we make, they have created this notion that Dharma will only make a certain (kind of films), no matter how many times we have broken that myth with our films. Every time we have made a different film, we needed to scream at the top of our voices to tell that we have done something different. We do not the get the due credit.” 

He further added, “We made a massive mainstream Brahmastra, we have also made a Kapoor & Sons. I have directed Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, I have also made My Name Is Khan, but still every time I am asked ‘aap kuch alag kab karoge’. I am always looking for good stories, whenever that comes on my table I am excited. It is for everyone to know that we are always looking for great content, it doesn’t matter what the genre is.”

Recently the trailer of his film released. In the trailer, Kiara Advani walks towards Vicky seductively but it turns to be a dream.  Govinda wakes up to a kick from his wife Gauri (Bhumi Pednekar). Gauri  calls him bekaar. She also introduced to her boyfriend. Govinda asks for divorce, Gauri tells him it will cost him ₹2 crore. His naughty girlfriend Suku (Kiara), like him. In between all this ,someone is murdered. The trailer does not reveal. However and  Govinda becam,e now the prime. The trailer of the film is receiving great reviews from the audience and they are showering their love on the star cast.

Govinda Naam Mera’ is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Govinda Naam Mera is directed by Shashank Khaitan, who has previously directed films like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Dhadak. Govinda Naam Mera will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on December 16.
