New Delhi: The Punjab Police on Friday arrested Delhi BJP unit spokesperson Tajinder Pal Bagga and was taking him to Punjab. But on the way, the Haryana Police stopped the Punjab Police and took Bagga into their custody. Later, Bagga was handed over to the Delhi Police by the Haryana Police. There has been a lot of uproar between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over the issue. AAP has even called BJP leader Bagga a history-sheeter.
AAP MLA Atishi Marlena, while talking to the media, said, "Look at the entire history of Bagga. They attacked a lawyer, attacked Ramlila's ground, and attacked a writer during the book launch. They have all kinds of lawsuits against them. There is a case of inciting riots, there is a case of forcible entering someone's house. Beating is a case of quarrel. This is not us saying his history sheet, he is the history-sheeter, Bagga is a history-sheeter. '
The AAP MLA further said, "Everyone knows the habit of instigating riots that Bagga has. They incite riots, they commit hooliganism, and only then the BJP is protecting them. Bagga is spoiling the atmosphere of Punjab. He was summoned five times by the Punjab Police, why didn't he go? If Baggaji is innocent, why is he afraid to appear before the police?"
